My name is Jack Lund. I’ve been a programmer for a very, very long time (around 42 years, as of this writing). I have a bachelor’s degree in Physics, even started grad school, but realized that I enjoyed computers much more than physics, so here we are.
I’m married to an immensely patient woman, and together we have two amazing college-age daughters. We live somewhere in the vicinity of Chicago.
As I mentioned, I teach martial arts. I’ve practiced martial arts on and off for most of my life, and currently teach Kampilan Eskrima under my teacher, Guro Edie Mesina
I don’t have a lot of time for social media, between family, teaching, work and my projects, but you can find me on Mastodon as @jacklund.
I’m still on Github (for the moment), but I’m migrating slowly to Codeberg as a way to keep both my privacy and my sanity.
